Armenia is Obliged to Develop Relations with Iran Not in Political and Security, But Also in Economic Sphere: Seyran Ohanyan
1 / 1

On October 8, the Head of the NA Armenia Faction Seyran Ohanyan, the Secretary of the Faction Artsvik Minasyan and the Member of the Faction Anna Grigoryan took part in the parliamentary briefings following the regular sittings of the RA National Assembly.

Answering to the question on the military exercises being held near the RA borders has noted that Armenia is obliged to develop the relations with Iran not in the political and security, but also in the economic sphere. In the opinion of the Head of the Faction, the identifying of the topographic situation of our country with the law on Administrative-Territorial Division is unacceptable. “That law is for inner consuming, and if even it exists, then after November 9 stopped war we had no right to hand over the strategic points to Azerbaijan in those parts, which are disputable between us and Azerbaijan,” he said, then added that in case of delimitation it will be very difficult to move away Azerbaijan from those parts. In Seyran Ohanyan’s opinion, the threat of war is always there, but he doesn’t think that military actions will be now.
